Kageryu on release was just ''ok''. It's rock armor didn't offer much protection, however looking at the rebalanced kageryu it shows much more potential and promise. Having rock armor have a lunging variant while also making the armor significantly better was definitely what he needed. With some minor nerfs to adjust it correctly. -MrAz

Unfortunately for amorpesce it is a purely melee based kaiju just like hestatus, but it is nowhere near fast enough to be as effective. As most kaiju can run away from it and projectile/beam spam it to death. Maybe giving amorpesce a 25% projectile and beam resistance can help it's case? Then again it doesn't solve that it's a melee dps monster while also lacking in actual speed. Though the dash helps with this it's just amorpesce's misfortune of getting brought into a meta where beams and projectiles are more dominant then raw melee power. -MrAz

Frequently Asked Questions
Kageruy has shown significant improvement after rebalancing, particularly with its rock armor and lunging variant, which enhances its combat potential. In contrast, Amorpesce struggles in the current meta due to its purely melee nature and lack of speed, making it vulnerable to ranged attacks. Therefore, Kageruy is generally considered more effective in combat compared to Amorpesce.
Yes, Kageruy's rebalanced rock armor provides it with better defensive capabilities, allowing it to withstand attacks more effectively. Amorpesce, on the other hand, lacks sufficient speed and defensive options, making it less capable of protecting itself in combat situations. Thus, Kageruy is favored for its superior defense.
Kageruy is better positioned to adapt to the current combat meta due to its recent enhancements that improve its effectiveness in battle. Amorpesce, being a melee-focused kaiju in a meta dominated by ranged attacks, faces challenges in adapting and is less likely to succeed without significant changes to its abilities.
Kageruy is a character or item that has undergone significant changes since its release. Initially, it was considered just 'ok' due to its rock armor not providing much protection. However, after rebalancing, Kageruy has shown much more potential, especially with the introduction of a lunging variant of the rock armor and improvements to its overall effectiveness.
Currently, there are no user-generated pros listed for Kageruy. However, the cons include its initial lack of protection when first released. The rebalanced version has improved significantly, but some users may still find it requires minor adjustments to optimize its performance.
User reviews indicate that Kageruy has improved since its initial release. One user noted that while it was just 'ok' at first, the rebalanced version shows much more promise due to enhancements like a lunging variant of the rock armor and better overall effectiveness.
Currently, there are no user-generated pros for Amorpesce. However, some cons have been noted, including its purely melee-based combat style, which makes it less effective in a meta dominated by ranged attacks. Users have pointed out that Amorpesce lacks speed, making it difficult to compete against faster kaiju that can evade its attacks. Suggestions have been made to improve its viability, such as adding projectile and beam resistance.
Amorpesce is characterized by its purely melee combat style. This means it relies on close-range attacks to deal damage, which can be a disadvantage in battles against kaiju that utilize ranged attacks, such as projectiles and beams.
Amorpesce is often compared to other melee-based kaiju like Hestatus. However, it is noted that Amorpesce is not as fast, which limits its effectiveness in combat. Many kaiju can easily evade its attacks and counter with ranged options, making it less competitive in the current meta.
One suggestion for improving Amorpesce's performance is to give it a 25% resistance to projectiles and beams. This could help it withstand ranged attacks better and make it more viable in battles where speed and ranged combat are prevalent.
